Description

Abbey Close Cottage is a 17th-century building located on Abbey Close. It is a low, two-storey structure made of stone rubble. The cottage features two gabled half-dormers and a roof covered with stone slates arranged in diminishing courses. The windows are wood casements, with two-light casements above, a three-light casement to the right below, and a four-light casement to the left. The entrance has a half-glazed door. This cottage is part of a group of listed buildings that includes the east end of No 1 Finger Lane.
