Description

The Cottage, located at Abbey Close, is a 17th-century building that forms part of a group with adjoining properties Nos 1 to 3. It is two storeys high and features a two-window front made of stone rubble. The roof is plain-tiled and hipped on one side. The windows are three-light casements with wooden lintels and lead glazing. The early 19th-century doorcase is notable for its moulded pilasters and a hood with a dentil cornice.
