Description
No. 18 Radipole Lane is a detached house that was originally two cottages, built in the late 18th century. The building is constructed of rubble and features a hipped thatched roof. It has two storeys and four windows, all of which are small two-light wood casements with small panes, mostly lacking sills. The upper floor has four evenly spaced windows at eaves level, while the ground floor has two windows with wide flush stone lintels, one of which does not align with the window above it. The first-floor window on the left side has early strap hinges.
To the left of the house, there is a wide gabled porch from the early 20th century that leads to a 20th-century door, and to the right, there is an earlier gabled porch with another 20th-century door. A lean-to structure is located on the right side, and the left gable features a two-light casement at the eaves. The rear of the house has various casements and French doors, and there is a ridge stack positioned to the left of centre. The interior has not been inspected.
