Description
No. 19 East Hill is a former pair of cottages that have been converted into a single dwelling, dating from the late 18th century. The building features coursed rubble stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are brick stacks located at the left center on the ridge and at the right-hand gable. The structure is two storeys high and has a total of four windows on the first floor, which are 2-light wood casements with glazing bars and wood cills, though these are 20th-century replacements. Above the windows are segmental brick arches that date from the 18th century. The front door is positioned left of center, is flush panelled, and has a wood frame, with a segmental brick arch above it. A thatch porch canopy extends over the entrance.
