Description

The Road Bridge over the River Cerne is a 16th-century structure, with its arches rebuilt in the early 19th century. It features coursed rubble stone walls and a parapet. The bridge has three segmental arches that have been reconstructed in brick, both upstream and downstream. The parapet is topped with saddle back coping stones. This double-track bridge measures 9 metres in length and has a slight hump.
