Description

West Hill Cottage is an attached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It features rubble stone walls that are rough cast and painted over, and it has a thatched roof with a gable end facing west. There is a brick stack at the ridge, positioned to the right of the center. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has three windows with irregular spacing. The windows are mainly 2-light 20th-century metal casements. Above, there are three eyebrow dormers arranged in a pattern of 1:2:2 lights. The front door, located towards the left end, is a plank and studded design with ornamental hinges, also from the 20th century. This building is included for its group value.
