SY 69 NW SYDLING ST NICHOLAS

8/153 Magiston Farmhouse(formerly 25.1.56 listed under Sydling GV II St Nicholas)

Detached Farmhouse. C18, with C19 refenestration, and C19 south range added. Knapped flint and chalk block wall, with brick quoins. Concrete tile and slate roofs. Brick stacks on north ridge, original south gable end, and on south eaves of added range. T-Plan house, with Cl9 cross-wing added at south end. Two storeys. West angle of house (entrance in angle) has 2 windows on south wall, and 2 windows on west wall. Iron casements with lead lights, brick dressings. Front door, in the angle on west wall, fielded-panel, C20. C20 canopy. Cl9 range, rendered and painted with slate roof. South elevation, has 2 storeys, 3 windows, 12 pane sashes, C20 sash at top left. 2 doors, at left hand end, C20, and right centre, both multi- paned.
