Magiston Farmhouse

Magiston Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the 18th century, with 19th-century alterations including new windows and an added south range. The building features walls made of knapped flint and chalk block, with brick quoins, and has concrete tile and slate roofs. There are brick stacks on the north ridge, the original south gable end, and on the south eaves of the added range. The house is designed in a T-plan, with a 19th-century cross-wing added at the south end. It stands two storeys high.

The west angle of the house, which contains the entrance, has two windows on the south wall and two on the west wall. These windows have iron casements with lead lights and brick dressings. The front door, located in the angle on the west wall, is a fielded-panel door from the 20th century, and there is a 20th-century canopy above it. The 19th-century range is rendered and painted, featuring a slate roof. The south elevation has two storeys with three windows that are 12-pane sashes, along with a 20th-century sash window at the top left. There are also two doors on this elevation, one at the left end and another at the right centre, both of which are multi-paned and from the 20th century.
