Description

The Rectory is a mid-18th century rectory, with a 19th-century ground floor extension to the front. It is constructed of brick walls in Flemish bond with glazed headers. A plat band and stone closers are present. The roof is covered with asbestos slate and is hipped, featuring boxed eaves. Rendered stacks are located on the north end wall and on the front pitch to the right of centre.

The main part of the building has a slightly projecting central bay and two storeys with three sash windows, featuring thin glazing-bars. A 19th-century front extension has been added, built of Broadmayne brick in Flemish bond and topped with a flat stone cornice. Stone canted bays flank the front door, which is a two-leaf door with recessed panels and two upper lights, topped by a 19th-century fanlight with radiating glazing-bars.

A 19th-century extension is located at the north end of the original house, hidden behind a flanking wall with a concave profile and stone coping.
