Pair of Cottages. Early C19, with probably earlier core. Flint and stone banded walls. Thatch roof (no. 31), hipped at right hand end. Concrete tile roof, (no. 32) with a gable-end at left hand end. Large brick stack at party wall, early C19. 2 and 1½ storeys. 2(31) and 3(32) windows. No. 31: 2-light iron casements with lead lights, wood cills and lintels. No.32, 2- and 3-light wooden casements, with brick dressings, wood cills and lintels. No.32 has gabled dormers with moulded barge-boards and strutting. Front doors: no.31 at right front, plank with one glass light, C20. Plank porch with clay tile roof. No.32, door on left hand end wall, plank with one glass light, C19. (RCHM Dorset I, p.116(7))
