Description

The stables, workshop, and tack room located immediately north of Southover House date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed with banded flint and stone walls, featuring stone quoins. The building has a corrugated iron roof with a small brick stack at the center. The ground floor includes substantial lofts above, with four windows that have 2- and 3-light cast-iron casements from the 19th century. There are two plank doors leading to the stables and workshop, with plank loft doors above. The stables have rough cobble flooring and four stable partitions, also from the 19th century.
