Description
Linden Lea is a row of three cottages located in Frampton, dating from the late 17th century, with an extension added in the 18th century. The cottages feature walls made of knapped flint and banded stone, topped with a thatch roof that is hipped at both ends. There are brick stacks positioned at the left-hand party wall and the right of the centre party wall. A straight joint is visible between cottages 1 and 2. The buildings are 1½ storeys tall and do not have any ground floor windows facing the road. The first floor includes three windows, which are 2- and 3-light casements. The rear elevation displays a mix of casements, primarily 3-light. The doors facing the road include a door in the outshut at the east end, a door with three glass panels for No. 1 (20th century), a door into the side of the porch for No. 2 (20th century), and a studded plank door for No. 3 (20th century).
