Description
No. 4 is a detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It features banded flint and stone walls with stone quoins, and the south wall is rendered. The roof is thatched, with a gable end on the left side and a hipped roof on the right. There is a 20th-century brick chimney stack on the left gable. The cottage has two storeys and two windows: a three-light wooden casement on the left and a two-light wooden casement on the right, both with wooden cills and lintels that were renewed in the 20th century. On the east wall, to the right of the centre, there is a porch that is weatherboarded and has a pentice slate roof. The door, also from the 20th century, features one glass light.
