Description

Rose Cottage is an attached cottage dating from the 18th century, with a 19th-century addition at the east end. The cottage features rubble-stone walls, while the 19th-century section has brick walls. It has a thatched roof with a half-hip at the right end and a brick stack located at the ridge, slightly right of center. The building is two storeys high and has four windows, primarily consisting of two-light wooden casements with leaded lights and wooden cills. There is also a three-light wooden casement with glazing bars at the top left. The current entrance is located at the rear, within a 20th-century outshut, and features a fielded-panel door with four panels.
