Description

This is a mid-18th century farmhouse, now divided into two attached cottages, located on Dorchester Road, Frampton. It may incorporate an earlier structure. The walls are constructed of banded flint and stone, featuring large stone quoins. The roof is thatched with gable ends, and it has brick stacks – the left-hand stack is 20th century, and the right-hand stack is 19th century. The house is one-and-a-half storeys high with four windows on the ground floor. These windows are 3-light wooden casements with segmental brick arches and wooden sills. Three eyebrow dormers are present, each containing 2-light wooden casements of varying sizes. The front door to number 19 is planked with a single glass light and is situated to the right of the centre. The rear door to number 20 has recessed panels and is a 20th-century addition.
