Description
The Stable Block and Coach House, located immediately north of Frampton House, is an early 19th-century structure. It features a symmetrical design with brick walls laid in Flemish bond and tuck pointing. The hipped slate roofs are complemented by rendered brick stacks positioned to the left and right of the center along the ridge. The building has two full storeys and consists of four bays, with three bays beneath a central pediment. The sash windows have thin glazing bars, and there are smaller sash windows above them. The doors include flush-panel doors at the left end and an entrance to the stables on the right side, both dating from the 19th century. The central pediment contains three large round-headed arches, all of which are blocked. Inside the stables, there are four very large stalls supported by planking and iron columns topped with ball finials. The flooring is made of high-quality yellow brick arranged in a herringbone pattern, and the length of the stable side measures 16 meters.
