Description
Egdon is a detached cottage dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed of plastered cob walls, with a half-hipped thatched roof and a brick stack at the right-hand end. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. A part-glazed door is sheltered by a thatched hood supported on brackets. The ground floor features three casement windows with glazing bars. The attic has three half-dormers, also with casement windows matching those on the ground floor, also with glazing bars. The cottage was under repair in May 1986. It has group value in this location.
