Description
Central Farm Barn is a former barn that was converted into a house in the 18th century, with the conversion taking place around 1970. The building features brick walls that are buttressed and a half-hipped thatched roof. A central brick chimney stack was added in the 20th century. The elevation facing the road retains slit openings, and there is vertical boarding in the cart entrance, which includes four small windows. On the south side, there is a projecting hipped cart porch that is filled with glazing and vertical timbering, along with an open porch to the right. A stable door with sidelights is located at the right end. The ground floor has three 2-light casement windows with glazing bars, and there are four similar windows on the first floor. The interior has been remodeled.
