Description

This stable block, located 30 meters northeast of Tolpuddle Manor House, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features brick walls with burnt headers and a plinth, topped by a slate roof that has a crested ridge and a coped gable at the left end. The structure is single storey and has double doors at the left end, which led to a former coach house, and a stable door near the right end. There are also two sash windows with glazing bars set under segmental arches. Inside, some original stable partitions and fittings are still present. The building is included for its group value with the nearby manor house.
