Description

This is a detached house dating to the late 18th century. It is constructed of knapped flint walls with bands of chalk blocks, and has a thatched roof with gable ends. Brick stacks are located at the gable ends. The house has two storeys and originally three windows, all with brick dressings. The ground floor windows are 3-light wood casements with horizontal glazing bars. The first floor windows are fixed lead lights with a central iron casement. The front door is located at the centre and is recessed-panelled with two top lights, a wood lintel, and plain wood reveals. To the left of the house is a small, attached barn built of rubble stone with a single loop light and a corrugated iron roof.
