Description

The railings to the east and south-east of Spa House were built in 1830 and are made of cast and wrought iron. They feature light iron railings with widely spaced verticals, a central rail, and dog-bars, all resting on a low stone plinth. The railings run along the road frontage and curve back towards the north, or river front, with a break for the projecting former porch. At the left end, there is a square pier topped with a ball finial, and near the porch are the remains of two piers on rough stone bases, also with ball finials. The interior has not been inspected.
