Description

Woodlands Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the late 18th century. It features dressed stone walls and a hipped thatch roof. The building is two storeys high and has two windows on the front, which are three-light wooden casements with wooden sills and horizontal glazing bars. In the centre, there is one iron casement. The side range of the cottage has four windows of the same type. The main entrance is a side door made of planks, which is sheltered by a thatch roof porch supported by two wooden posts, added in the 20th century. To the far left, there is a garage entrance with a large wooden lintel above it. A raised lias stone platform extends from the front of the cottage out to the roadway.
