Description
Mins Cottage and The Cottage are two attached cottages dating from the 18th century. They feature dressed stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are three chimney stacks: a brick stack on the left gable, a stone stack with a cornice from the 18th century to the left of center, and another brick stack on the right gable. The cottages are two storeys high and have five windows, which are three-light wooden casements with a horizontal glazing bar and iron centre-lights, all set on wooden cills. The front door of The Cottage is a plank door with a wooden frame, topped by a hipped thatch porch canopy supported by wooden posts, dating from the 20th century. Mins Cottage has a central plank door from the 19th century, also with a thatch porch canopy on wooden posts.
