Description

Hill View and the attached cottage to the west are a detached cottage dating from the late 18th century. The main cottage features rubble stone walls and a Roman-tile roof, with two 20th-century brick stacks located at the left and right gables. It is two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with iron centre lights, and wooden lintels above them. The front door is positioned just left of centre and is a plank door with a wooden frame and a lintel above.

The attached cottage, built in the 19th century, also has rubble stone walls but is topped with a slate roof. It has one brick stack at the right gable and is two storeys tall. This cottage features two windows with two-light casements, and the upper floor has lead lights. The ground floor has 20th-century segmental brick arches. The front door is located at the right side of the front and is made of wood with glass panels in a decorative pattern, dating from the 19th century.
