Description

Church Cottage is a detached cottage that was originally three separate dwellings, dating from the 17th century and refenestrated in the 19th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are brick stacks on the ridge, positioned to the left and right of the center, with both rectangular and lozenge-shaped stacks combined. The cottage has one and a half storeys and includes five windows, each with two-light straight-chamfered mullions and cast-iron casements that have lozenge lights. Eyebrow dormers are present, and the front doorway is centrally located, featuring straight-chamfered stone jambs and a depressed-arch head. The door itself has six recessed panels.
