Detached Cottage, former schoolmistress's house. Later C19. Stone walls, roughcast, with moulded stone plat-band. Plain clay-tile roof with gablet at left hand front and end gables. Brick stack at centre ridge, with brick plinth and 3 polygonal stacks over. I½ storeys. Two windows, cast-iron casements with lozenge lights. Porch at centre with depressed-arch head and chamfered jambs. Plank-and-muntin door, C19. Two short rear ranges with hipped tile roofs.
