Description

Little Bride is a detached cottage dating from the mid-19th century or later. It features rubble-stone walls that are roughcast and a thatched roof with two gabled ranges on the southeast side. There are 20th-century brick stacks located at the rear wall of the south end, the northwest gable, and on the north wall of the south range. The cottage has one and a half storeys and includes 2-light cast-iron casements with lozenge glazing bars set in wooden frames. The entrance is situated between the two extending ranges and consists of a plank-and-muntin door with straight-chamfered jambs and a depressed-arch head. There is also a 20th-century entrance in the rear range, which is not of special interest.
