Description

The building at 1 and 3 Fleet Street is a 19th-century structure that serves as the rear premises of Colsons' Ironmongers. It features coursed Lias rubble walls and a slate roof, with a brick stack located on the ridge towards the south end. The building is two storeys high and has four windows, which are three-light wooden casements with wooden cills and dressed stone voussoirs. There are two 20th-century wooden front doors with glass panels. Originally, there was a carriage entrance on the right-hand side, marked by a wide segmental arch also with dressed stone voussoirs.
