Premises of Pines Ltd. House and attached Grocers. Late C18. (Established 1780 on shop-front). House with ashlar stone walls. Slate roof with stone gable-copings. Brick stacks at left and right gables. 2 storeys. 5 windows. Sashes with glazing-bars and wooden frames. Front door at centre of house, wooden, 6-panelled with semi-circular fanlight with curvilinear glazing-bars. Door surround, reeded with panelled reveals. Iron railings to street. Shop: attached at right hand. 2 storeys. 2 windows. Slate roof. 2 bow-windows with integral door at centre. Bow-windows with glazing-bars, making 28 panes each. Continuous moulded wood cornice over. Shop door with reeded surround. Rectangular fanlight with intersecting glazing-bars. Door, wood with glass panels over, C20. Continuous outshut at rear of premises, under original roof.
