Description

The Pound at Court Pound, located 15 meters north of the house, is a former pound from the 18th century. It features dry stone walls that enclose a partly paved area. It is said to have been used for donkeys that strayed from local quarry workings, according to the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England. This site is a property of the National Trust and is noted as RCHM Monument 31 in Dorset Volume II.
