Description
This is a detached house dating from the mid-18th century. It has a brick facade, a thatched roof, and a brick end stack. The building follows an L-shaped plan. It is two storeys high. The front entrance features a moulded panelled door sheltered by a moulded hood. On the ground floor is a single double-hung sash window with glazing bars, alongside an inserted canted bay window with a moulded cornice and double-hung sashes containing glazing bars. The first floor has three double-hung sash windows. Inside, the main ground floor room contains a large open fireplace with a timber lintel. The house is documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments as Monument 13.
