Description

No. 87 West Street is an attached house dating from the 18th century. It features plastered walls and a brick dentil cornice, topped by a tiled roof with a coped gable at the west end and brick stacks at both ends. The house has a double-pile plan with parallel gabled roofs and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The entrance is a panelled door located beneath a small hood supported by shaped brackets. On the ground floor, there are three double-hung sash windows, while the first floor has four similar windows, three of which include glazing bars.
