Description

This is an 18th-century house that has been used as a shop. It is located on the north side of West Street in Bere Regis. The walls are plastered, with a brick dentil cornice. The roof is tiled, with a brick end stack and a half-hipped form. The building has an L-shaped plan. The front has a 20th-century shop front, and the first floor has three 20th-century casement windows. The attic has two hipped dormers with casements containing glazing bars. A two-storied rear wing is constructed of brick with a tiled roof. The building is recorded as RCHM Monument 3.
