Description

This is a late 18th century house, which was later used as a shop. It is located on the south side of High Street in Aylesford. The front of the building is plastered and painted, with a parapet above a plain tiled roof. The roof is hipped on the left side and gabled on the right side, following the angle of the return front. A single flat-headed dormer window is present on the left, with a tall brick stack behind the ridge to the rear. The house has two storeys. The first floor has a single, central sash window with glazing bars and open boxes. The ground floor features a 20th century shop front, with a central glazed entrance door.
