Description

73 High Street is a house dating from the 17th century, with an early 19th-century front. The building is rendered and features a wooden cornice and a coped parapet above a plain tiled roof that has a central stack. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with two windows, which are tripartite glazing bar sashes. The central door is panelled and has a glazed top panel, set within a wooden surround with reveals. Above the door is a flat hood supported by four pairs of very shallow brackets and fluted wooden pilasters, which are decorated with sunflowers in the frieze.
