Description
This is a probably 18th-century terraced cottage located on the north side of West Street in Bere Regis. The walls are of mixed construction: the lower part is plastered, while the upper part is brick. The roof is thatched, with brick end stacks. The cottage is two storeys high. A 20th-century flush door gives access to the property. On the ground floor are two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has two 20th-century casement windows. A single-storey outbuilding on the west side connects to the outbuilding of the adjacent property at No. 74. This outbuilding has plastered walls, a tiled roof, and one double-hung sash window. The cottage is included on the listing for its group value, complementing the character of the street.
