Description

This barn, located 90 metres west of Charity Farmhouse, dates back to the 15th century and has been truncated and significantly altered internally. The structure features coursed dressed stone walls and is supported by four buttresses with moulded plinths and diagonal corner-buttresses. At the northeast angle of the truncated barn, there is a remaining jamb from a former entrance arch. The second bay from the south includes a 4-centred doorhead with straight-chamfered jambs, along with plank stable doors.
