Description

Court Cottages are two attached cottages built in the mid-19th century. They feature rubble-stone walls and a hipped slate roof, with a large brick chimney at the left-hand ridge. The cottages are two storeys high. On the north elevation, there is a blank wall, a plank door with a segmental head, and two bays of 2-light cast-iron casements. The design of the casements includes three tiers of lozenge lights connected at their points by vertical bars, with segmental brick window heads and wooden sills. No 1 Court Cottage has a plank door entrance at the rear. The west elevation features a 5-light cast-iron casement with a wide segmental brick arch above it, and there is a 3-light casement located above this.
