Description

This is an 18th-century barn located 30 metres north of Hill Farmhouse in South Perrott. The barn is positioned at right angles to the road and features stone walls topped with stone gable copings and a slate roof. The roof structure includes collar-beams with plated yokes, dating partly from the 18th century, and has two sets of butt-purlins. There is also an attached wall that connects the barn to a stable along the lane, extending for 20 yards. This wall is made of rubble-stone and has a Roman-tile coping.
