Description

This is an 18th-century barn located 40 metres north of Church Farmhouse. It features coursed rubble-stone walls with dressed stone quoins and a Roman-tile roof with gable ends and stone gable-copings. The barn is 1½ storeys high and has three ground floor openings, including central two-leaf plank doors supported by brick piers, which are modern (20th century). To the right of centre, there are additional two-leaf plank doors with a wooden lintel above. The loft doors are situated above these openings. Inside, the roof is constructed with collar beams. Notably, there is a 13th-century head-corbel that has been reset in the south-east angle.
