Description

A detached cottage dating from the early 19th century. The cottage is constructed of rubble-stone walls and has a clay-tile roof with stone gable-copings. A polygonal stone stack with a castellated cornice is located in the right-hand gable. It is a one-and-a-half storey building with two windows containing 2-light iron casements with lead lights; these windows have wood cills and lintels. Two gabled half-dormers are present. The front door, located to the left of centre, is panelled and features two top lights. This building possesses group value from its contribution to the wider historic landscape.
