Description

The churchyard walls and gate-piers located to the east and south of the Church of St Andrew date from the 17th and 18th centuries. They are constructed of rubble stone and feature ashlar coping stones. The walls extend for 25 metres south from the adjoining Chantry wall, then curve around the corner and continue west for 70 metres to the Church farmyard. At the western end, there is a pair of ashlar stone gate-piers topped with capstones and ball-finials, providing access to the churchyard.
