Description
This barn, located about 40 meters north of Perren's Hill Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed ham stone rubble with ashlar quoins and features a double Roman clay tiled roof with stepped coped gables. The barn has two storeys and consists of eight bays. There are small casement windows beneath stone lintels in the lower bays 1 and 3, while bays 2, 4, 6, and 8 have segmental arched openings. Upper bays 2 and 7 contain small-pane casement windows, and there is a boarded door in upper bay 5. This barn is part of a well-preserved farm complex established in 1801.
