Description

Woodside Lodge is a detached house, likely originating from the 18th century, with a large modern rear extension. The walls are constructed from a mix of rubble stone, brick, and cob, all of which are colourwashed. The house features a thatched roof and a brick stack located in the extension. It is one storey high with attics. The main east front includes a modern bowed extension at the south end and a lean-to thatched porch. At the north end, there is a second ledged door. The ground floor has two horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars, while the attic features two dormers with similar sash windows. The modern extension is plastered and thatched.
