Description

No. 39 East Lulworth is a detached cottage with origins dating back to the 17th century. It features roughcast walls and a thatched roof, with brick stacks at both ends; the eastern stack has an external projection, which may have been used as a bread oven. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and the east wall is buttressed. The entrance is located in the north wall. The main south front has two ground floor casement windows with glazing bars and one small plain window. In the attic, there are three gabled dormers, each with casements that also have glazing bars.
