Description

No. 40 East Lulworth is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It features plastered cob walls and a thatched roof, with brick stacks at each end. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. The entrance is located in a rear lean-to extension. The main south-facing front has a blocked doorway and three casement windows with glazing bars on the ground floor. In the attic, there are three hipped dormers, each with similar casement windows.
