Description
Bent Tree House is a detached house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof with coped gables, along with a stone stack at the left end and a plastered stack at the right end. There is a later extension at the right end, constructed of rubble stone with a concrete tiled roof. The front of the house has a six-panel door set in a moulded stone surround. On the ground floor, there are two stone mullioned windows, also in moulded stone surrounds. The first floor has three similar windows, although the surrounds have been patched in cement. In the extension, there is one metal casement window on the ground floor and one timber casement window on the first floor, both set in cement surrounds. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to with a slate roof, featuring windows with cast iron glazing, and a raised gabled section in the centre.
