Description
Robinswood Farm House is a detached house, likely built in the early 17th century. It features brick walls and a roof that is partly thatched and partly tiled, with corbelled gables. There is a central brick chimney stack. The thatched section is one storey with an attic, while the tiled section has two storeys. A 20th-century glazed porch has been added to the end of the thatched section. On the ground floor, there is one casement window and one double-hung sash window, both with glazing bars. The first floor has two casement windows, each with central glazing bars. The entrance is located in the end gable wall. Inside, one ground floor room contains a large open fireplace with a bread oven and a renewed timber lintel. The fireplace backing features an 18th-century moulded timber surround, and the roof trusses have moulded principal rafters.
