BLOXWORTH MARSH LANE 1 and 2 Marsh Farm Marsh Farm House, including walls to enclosed yard, north of the house

II Farmhouse, now two cottages. C17 origin, altered in C19. Walls of flint and brick banding. Deep plinth with moulded stone capping. Tiled roof, with stone eaves courses and coped gables. One brick end and one centre stack. Two C20 part-glazed doors - one under hood on shaped brackets. Ground floor has three double-hung sash windows. First floor has 5 similar windows. Evidence of other blocked windows. Single-storey rear lean-to and a two-storeyed rear wing - now flat-roofed. North of the house - adjoining the road - an enclosed yard with cob walls with pantile capping.
