Description
This cottage, located 250 meters southwest of Muston Manor, likely started as two separate cottages and dates back to the 17th century, with additions and alterations from the 18th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of cob and brick and features a half-hipped thatched roof with a central brick chimney. The building is one and a half stories tall and has two windows on the front. The ground floor openings are topped with segmental brick arches, and the windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars. There is a 20th-century door in a later extension on the left side. Inside, notable features include open fireplaces with chamfered bressummers, stop-chamfered ceiling beams and wall-plates, and plate and muntin partitions.
