Description
Stable Cottage is a former stable building dating from around 1622, which was converted into a cottage in the early 20th century. It features brick walls and a tiled roof with stone eaves courses. A central stack with four shafts set diagonally has been inserted. The building is one storey with an attic, and the west side has been rebuilt with inserted dormers. The east wall includes four stone mullioned windows with lead lights, and there is a lead pump against the east wall. The interior has been modernised. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
